the barangay tamayoc is situated on the northern side of tamayoc mountain (bato tibi)facing barangay poblacion that about 2 kilometers away from the town proper. the name tamayoc is came from the spring.this spring is source of water flowing freely from the foot of the mountain, which supplies the entire barangay with fresh and crystal_like cold water when dry season comes only a small trickle of the water through all the years no one can recall that this spring had ever dried up. so come and experience the beautiful spring at the bato tibi located at brgy. tamayoc, patnongon, antique.
